Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain master schedules for the entire Nursing Department
• Fill all staffing needs along with authorizing and declining vacations, personal days’ requests according to availability of per diem staff and to minimize overtime
• Schedule transport/escort arrangements for all residents going to external medical appointments
• Process re-certifications for all CNAs
• Create and maintain employee files and compliance
• Maintain nursing spend budget and monitor overtime budget
• Constant communication with 1199 employees concerning any issues
• Assist in processing of payroll for union and agency staff
• Provide administrative and secretarial duties as requested by the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, In-Service Coordinator or Administrator

Required experience:
• Nursing Home Staffing Coordinator: 1 year
• Nursing Home Admin Assistant: 1 year
